Deck overview

This Jeskai deck pairs Kratos, Stoic Father with Atreus, Impulsive Son to build an overwhelming engine based on God tribal synergies and experience counters. Attacking with Gods and changelings generates experience counters, which proliferate sources rapidly multiply. Kratos leverages these counters to place escalating numbers of +1/+1 counters on key creatures each end step, while Atreus turns them into massive card draw and noncombat table burn. Supported by indestructible legendary Gods like Purphoros, God of the Forge and Heliod, Sun-Crowned, the deck transitions into the late game by overwhelming defenses with massive evasive attackers, asymmetric sweepers like Damning Verdict, or an extra-turn loop via Sage of Hours. Comprehensive protection spells ensure the board survives removal while closing out the game.
