The Queen by user2958105

Format: Commander

Commander: Queen Marchesa

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Queen Marchesa establishes an early monarchy, turns card draw and goad effects into a political control game, then shifts to a one-shot combat kill. The deck's real finisher is Gisela, Blade of Goldnight as a hidden commander: Sunforger and Duelist's Heritage turn Marchesa into a 28-damage double-strike threat, killing one opponent per attack. Secondary lines use Brash Taunter, Deflecting Palm, Comeuppance, and Fire Covenant to convert incoming damage into opponent life loss. It is a resilient, interaction-heavy Mardu deck that wins by attrition rather than a fast combo.
