Deck overview

This Dimir Commander deck is led by Wilhelt, the Rotcleaver, utilizing a Zombie tribal aristocrats framework to generate card advantage, board presence, and sudden combo finishes. The early game focuses on deploying efficient mana ramp and low-cost Zombie fodder like Gravecrawler, Cryptbreaker, and Carrion Feeder. Once Wilhelt enters on Turn 4, the engine starts converting nontoken Zombie deaths into 2/2 decayed tokens and end-step card draws. The primary win condition centers around Poppet Stitcher, whose transformed back face Poppet Factory strips decayed from tokens. Combined with Wilhelt and a free sacrifice outlet like Phyrexian Altar, this produces infinite mana, infinite death triggers, and infinite 3/3 Zombies. Secondary win lines include Rooftop Storm loops, mass reanimation via Bloodline Bidding, and attrition locks via Noxious Ghoul and The Scarab God. The deck operates smoothly on curve with resilient graveyard recursion and solid interaction.
