Deck overview

This Rakdos deck pairs Karlach, Fury of Avernus with Cultist of the Absolute to create a fast Voltron and extra-combat engine. Cultist of the Absolute turns Karlach into an 8/7 flying deathtouch commander with Ward 3 life, while Karlach's attack trigger untaps your attackers and grants an additional combat phase. Fast mana rituals and low-cost artifacts accelerate Karlach onto the battlefield by Turn 4, fueled by disposable sacrifice engines like Ophiomancer and Dreadhorde Invasion. Haste enablers allow Karlach to strike immediately for 16 commander damage in one turn. Damage multipliers including Jeska, Thrice Reborn, Kediss, Emberclaw Familiar, and Doc Ock's Tentacles scale this pressure table-wide, quickly eliminating opponents. Efficient removal spells and sweepers keep blocking paths clear to secure a Turn 6 table finish.
