Deck overview

This deck is a Mardu aggro-reanimator list helmed by Terra, Herald of Hope. The deck's primary plan centers on deploying Terra on Turn 3, utilizing her Trance ability to grant flying and mill cards, and connecting in combat on Turn 4 to pay {2} and reanimate low-power utility creatures. By leveraging power-3-or-less bridge creatures like Karmic Guide and Priest of Fell Rites, the deck cheats massive threats like Twinflame Tyrant and Aurelia, the Warleader onto the battlefield well ahead of curve. Turn 5 serves as the critical onset window, where doubled damage and extra combat steps threaten the table with overwhelming lethal force. While the deck boasts strong recovery thanks to redundant graveyard recursion, its reliance on combat connections and susceptibility to graveyard hate create distinct interaction windows for opponents.
