Format: Commander

Commander: Shroofus Sproutsire

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Shroofus Sproutsire leads a mono-green Saproling storm. The primary plan is to land Shroofus early, let him and every other Saproling connect in combat, and use the resulting token flood to fuel an exponential attack. Secondary paths include grinding with Saproling Cluster, Fungal Plots, and Night Soil; drawing via Ohran Frostfang, Toski, and Fecundity; and finishing with an anthem or an unblockable effect. Tendershoot Dryad is the closest hidden commander, generating a Saproling each upkeep and pumping the team with the city's blessing. Shroofus is the engine, not just a beater: every Saproling's combat damage triggers his ability, so the deck wins by massing evasive or trampling Saprolings and protecting them through one final combat step.
