Deck overview

This mono-black deck is an aristocrats and life-drain combo list that turns life gain into direct opponent life loss. Helmed by Vito, Thorn of the Dusk Rose, the deck leverages redundant drain effects alongside infinite sacrifice loops and big-mana burn spells. Its primary route to victory utilizes Warren Soultrader, Gravecrawler, and an aristocrat payoff like Blood Artist or Zulaport Cutthroat to drain all three opponents to zero in a single turn. Powerful mana acceleration from dark rituals and Cabal Coffers enables fast setup, while engines such as Necropotence and Yawgmoth, Thran Physician maintain continuous card velocity. The deck features strong creature and enchantment removal alongside graveyard hate, although its reliance on graveyard loops and creature engines leaves it vulnerable to targeted disruption and anti-graveyard effects.
