Deck overview

This Bant deck is led by Sophia, Dogged Detective, blending Dog typal beatdown with +1/+1 counters and artifact token generation. The strategy curves out with low-cost Dogs before casting Sophia on Turn 4 to create Tiny, an evasive 2/2 Dog Detective with trample. When Dogs deal combat damage, Sophia generates Food and Clue tokens, which are subsequently sacrificed for {1} to distribute +1/+1 counters across the entire pack. Multipliers like Hardened Scales, Academy Manufactor, and Peregrin Took rapidly accelerate token counts and power. The deck transitions into a lethal clock around Turn 6 by leveraging asymmetric board wipes like Damning Verdict and Wave Goodbye, or team overruns via Overwhelming Stampede, Mirror Entity, and Night of the Sweets' Revenge. Strong defensive spells like Clever Concealment and Dawn's Truce safeguard the pack against sweepers.
