Deck overview

This deck is a Rakdos Dragon Midrange and Treasure Burn strategy led by Smaug the Impenetrable. The plan revolves around developing mana in the opening turns, deploying Smaug on Turn 5 as an indestructible 8/7 flying threat, and leveraging noncombat damage sources like Pyrohemia, Pestilence, and Blasphemous Act to generate overwhelming Treasure reserves. These Treasures fuel secondary dragon threats like Cavern-Hoard Dragon and Ancient Copper Dragon, while cards such as Wrathful Red Dragon, Mayhem Devil, and Mirkwood Bats convert token creation, sacrifices, and damage triggers into direct player burn. The deck excels at sweeping opposing creature boards while leaving its own indestructible commander untouched, applying relentless combat and burn pressure to eliminate all three opponents by Turn 8.
