Deck overview

This deck is an Esper enchantment toolbox and Voltron strategy led by Zur the Enchanter. The game plan focuses on casting Zur on Turn 4 and attacking on Turn 5 to tutor key enchantments directly onto the battlefield without paying their mana costs. Offensively, Zur searches for powerful stat-boosting auras and sagas like Michiko's Reign of Truth, Eidolon of Countless Battles, and Curator's Ward to build an evasive, hexproof threat that eliminates opponents with lethal commander damage. Defensively, Zur acts as a silver-bullet toolbox to fetch disruptive stax pieces like Stony Silence, Rest in Peace, and Spirit of the Labyrinth, shutting down opposing artifact mana, graveyard recursion, and extra card draw. While the deck has high tutor consistency once Zur attacks, it lacks fast mana acceleration and requires multiple turns of combat to defeat all three opponents.
