Deck overview

This deck is a focused Mono-Green Stompy strategy built around Ghalta, Primal Hunger. The game plan leverages efficient mana dorks and severely undercosted high-power creatures—such as Gigantosaurus, Steel Leaf Champion, Pugnacious Hammerskull, and Terrian, World Tyrant—to rapidly accumulate 10 or more total power on the battlefield. This power threshold reduces Ghalta's casting cost to just two green mana, allowing the 12/12 trample commander to hit the board as early as Turn 4. Once assembled, the deck converts massive power into overwhelming card advantage through draw spells like Rishkar's Expertise and Return of the Wildspeaker. Victory is achieved by trampling through blockers, accelerating commander damage eliminations, and finishing the entire table with massive multipliers such as Unnatural Growth and Overwhelming Stampede. Robust targeted protection spells defend key threats against spot removal, while strong functional redundancy ensures quick recovery from disruption.
