Deck overview

This Orzhov deck helmed by Syr Vondam, Sunstar Exemplar is a flicker-based aristocrats combo machine that leverages a dense package of ETB creatures, blink effects, and sacrifice outlets to generate infinite loops. The commander provides incremental value through +1/+1 counters and life gain, but the real engine lives in the 99: a suite of reanimation and blink enablers that can assemble game-ending combos involving Karmic Guide, Reveillark, Felidar Guardian, and Blasting Station or Altar of the Brood. Secondary win conditions include Gray Merchant of Asphodel drain, Corpse Knight pings, and token swarms from Hero of Bladehold and Inkshield. The deck is built to grind through interaction and recover from board wipes with recurring value.
