Deck overview

This deck is a Mono-Blue forced-draw control strategy helmed by The Unagi of Kyoshi Island. The game plan revolves around deploying cheap symmetrical draw permanents like Howling Mine, Font of Mythos, and Anvil of Bogardan to force each opponent to draw a second card during their draw step. Flashing in the commander turns this symmetrical effect into overwhelming asymmetric advantage, drawing two cards on every opponent's turn. With 15 or more cards constantly in hand, the deck fuels zero-mana countermagic such as Force of Will, Foil, and Commandeer to protect its board. It converts massive card flow into victory using win conditions like Psychosis Crawler, Psychic Corrosion, and Homunculus Horde, or locks opponents out of combat using Meishin, the Mind Cage. Alternate win conditions like Thassa's Oracle and Laboratory Maniac ensure that drawing the entire library immediately closes out the game.
