Deck overview

This Grixis deck builds a single large Army with amass Orcs and amass Zombies and wins through combat. Early creatures like Lazotep Reaver and Dunland Crebain create the Army, then Mauhur, Uruk-hai Captain and Inexorable Tide add extra counters and proliferate them. Menace from Goblin War Drums and Angrath, Captain of Chaos and double strike from Assault on Osgiliath make the Army lethal. Sauron, Lord of the Rings is a late-game value engine that amasses 5, mills five, and reanimates a creature, but the deck can win without him. Hidden commander is Mauhur, who doubles counter growth and defines the scaling plan.
