Deck overview

This Edgar Markov deck is a high-tuned Mardu Vampire tribal build that leverages the commander's eminence to amass a swift token army while simultaneously threatening an instant-speed combo kill. The primary game plan is to deploy cheap vampires, generate overwhelming board presence through lords and drain effects, and pivot into a two-card life-drain infinite loop (Exquisite Blood + Sanguine Bond/Vito, Thorn of the Dusk Rose/Bloodthirsty Conqueror) or the Mikaeus, the Unhallowed + Triskelion combo. A dense tutor suite and fast mana (Mana Vault, Chrome Mox, Dark Ritual) allow the deck to assemble its win consistently by turns 5-6. The commander's haste ensures immediate pressure, but the real threat is the compact, tutor-accessible combo layer.
