Format: Commander

Commander: Shalai and Hallar

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Shalai and Hallar is the sole commander; the deck is built around its counter-trigger burn. The primary plan is to land the commander on curve, then multiply +1/+1 counters with Kami, Court, Doubling Season, Branching Evolution, and Bristly Bill so every counter event becomes direct damage. The cleanest finishes are Aggravated Assault + a powered Kami for infinite combats, All Will Be One + The Red Terror for a self-sustaining damage loop, and a Marit Lage made by Dark Depths/Thespian's Stage. A fallback combat/Mayael's Aria line wins through big trampling hydras or Marit Lage. There is no second printed commander; The Red Terror and Kami effectively act as the hidden engines.
