Deck overview

This Gruul stompy deck utilizes Ruby, Daring Tracker as an accessible two-mana ramp dork in the command zone. The deck's primary curve focuses on deploying Ruby on Turn 2, casting one of its numerous four-mana land ramp sorceries on Turn 3, and untapping on Turn 4 with 6 to 7 mana to deploy massive power 4+ creatures and value engines. Payoffs like Garruk's Uprising, Elemental Bond, and Monstrous Vortex maintain card flow as giant beaters enter the battlefield. By Turn 5, the deck transitions into critical onset with team-wide pump effects, extra combats from Moraug, Fury of Akoum, or mass trampling bodies from Kamahl, Heart of Krosa and Avenger of Zendikar. The list relies on combat damage to eliminate opponents by Turn 7, trading stack interaction and defensive shields for raw mana acceleration and board presence.
