Deck overview

This mono-green deck harnesses Ghalta, Primal Hunger to convert early creature power into massive cost reduction, explosive card draw, and decisive combat pressure. In the opening turns, the deck accelerates through efficient 1-mana and 2-mana ramp spells, followed by high-power midgame creatures such as Surrak, the Hunt Caller and Goreclaw, Terror of Qal Sisma. This curve enables Ghalta, Primal Hunger to enter as early as Turn 4 for only two green mana. Once Ghalta is in play, the deck leverages its 12 power through burst draw spells like Greater Good, Rishkar's Expertise, and Life's Legacy, rapidly refilling the hand with fresh threats and protection. The deck finishes games by overwhelming opponents with trampling damage, amplified by overrun effects such as Overwhelming Stampede and Return of the Wildspeaker. While vulnerable to mass removal, its redundancy and natural power engines ensure rapid rebuilding.
