Deck overview

This Temur Paradox Midrange deck is commanded by The Thirteenth Doctor and Yasmin Khan, focusing on casting spells from exile, the graveyard, and the library to trigger potent Paradox synergies. The game plan revolves around deploying both commanders by Turn 4 to establish a self-sustaining engine where Yasmin Khan provides impulse card flow, and The Thirteenth Doctor distributes +1/+1 counters and untaps attackers and utility creatures at each end step. Midgame turns leverage cascade spells like Throes of Chaos, flashback enablers like Return the Past, and scaling payoffs like Sisterhood of Karn and Flaming Tyrannosaurus. The deck transitions into a lethal threat by Turn 7, closing out the game across two response cycles through massive trample combat damage and direct burn triggers. While resilient in card flow, the strategy is vulnerable to creature sweepers due to limited defensive countermagic.
