Deck overview

This deck is a Jund forced-combat midrange strategy commanded by Thantis, the Warweaver. Its primary game plan revolves around accelerating into defensive rattlesnake enchantments and pillowfort dissuaders before deploying Thantis or complementary goad enablers. By forcing every creature on the battlefield to attack each combat if able, the deck turns opponents' boards against one another, breaking parity through deathtouch blockers, token generation, and attack taxes. As opponents whittle down their own life totals and lose utility creatures in unfavorable combat trades, the deck leverages recurring draw engines to find devastating power multipliers like Zopandrel, Hunger Dominus, Death Kiss, or Elder Gargaroth to eliminate the table across two combat cycles.
