Thopt Era by XYZ

Format: Commander

Commander: Sai, Master Thopterist

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Sai, Master Thopterist leads a mono-blue artifact engine. The primary plan is to assemble a top-deck cast engine (Mystic Forge, The Reality Chip, Crystal Skull, or Mm'menon), a cost reducer such as Etherium Sculptor or Foundry Inspector, and Sensei's Divining Top, then loop Top to draw the entire library and win with Thassa's Oracle. Secondary paths use Aetherflux Reservoir over many artifact casts, KCI plus Scrap Trawler and Myr Retriever recursion to generate mana and triggers, and incidental Thopter beats from Sai, Mirrodin Besieged, and Kappa Cannoneer. Urza, Lord High Artificer is a hidden commander, producing blue mana from artifacts and enabling large explosive turns. Sai's activated ability converts spare Thopters into cards but is not mandatory for the combo.
