ETB Deck by Octopuspanda

Format: Commander

Commander: Norin the Wary

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This is a mono-red ETB/pinger deck built around Norin the Wary, leveraging his constant flicker to repeatedly trigger "whenever a creature enters" damage effects. The primary win condition is incremental life loss via Purphoros, God of the Forge, Impact Tremors, and a host of Alliance creatures that deal 1-2 damage per trigger. The deck amplifies this damage with multipliers like Torbran, Thane of Red Fell, Solphim, Mayhem Dominus, and Fiery Emancipation. Confusion in the Ranks turns your ETBs into theft, while token generators (Krenko, Mob Boss, Genesis Chamber) flood the board to accelerate the clock. The deck has no infinite combos, instead relying on sustained pressure and resilience to attrition. Speed is low (turn 8-9 kill), but the redundancy of its pinging role provides consistent access to its core plan.
