Deck overview

This deck is an Abzan enchantment reanimator strategy led by Anikthea, Hand of Erebos. The game plan focuses on filling the graveyard with high-impact non-Aura enchantments using targeted tutors like Entomb and self-mill engines like Hermit Druid and Overlord of the Balemurk. Once these enchantments are in the graveyard, casting Anikthea, Hand of Erebos immediately returns them to the battlefield as 3/3 Zombie enchantment creature tokens with menace. The deck amplifies this reanimation engine using token multipliers such as Doubling Season, Anointed Procession, Parallel Lives, and Ojer Taq, Deepest Foundation. These multipliers exponentially expand token generation, producing overwhelming boards of 3/3 Zombies, Knight tokens from Summon: Knights of Round, and destructive triggers from Doomwake Giant and Summon: Bahamut. Defensive enchantments like Sphere of Safety and Blind Obedience suppress opposing attacks while the deck swings through with evasive menace attackers to eliminate all opponents over consecutive combat steps.
