Deck overview

This deck is a high-powered competitive EDH list built in the Esper colors, utilizing Raffine, Scheming Seer for card selection, fuel, and board presence. Its central game plan is to rapidly assemble and execute the format's premier compact combo: Thassa's Oracle combined with Demonic Consultation or Tainted Pact. The deck accelerates its development using fast mana artifacts and rituals, then shields its critical turns with preemptive silence engines like Grand Abolisher, Silence, and Ranger-Captain of Eos, or a suite of free counterspells. As a secondary plan, it leverages high-value reanimation targets, asymmetric hate pieces such as Drannith Magistrate and Opposition Agent, and an alternate infinite turn line via Tivit, Seller of Secrets and Time Sieve.
