Deck overview

Helmed by The Ur-Dragon, this deck represents an optimized Dragon Tribal Stompy archetype that leverages Eminence to consistently discount high-impact flying threats. Built with a pristine 5-color manabase comprising original duals, fetchlands, and shocklands, the deck accelerates through efficient ramp spells and tribal cost reducers such as Urza's Incubator and Dragonspeaker Shaman. By Turn 4, the deck establishes core engine pieces like Miirym, Sentinel Wyrm, Sneak Attack, or Hellkite Courser, quickly transitioning on Turn 5 into overwhelming aerial assaults powered by Atarka, World Render, Utvara Hellkite, and Terror of the Peaks. Direct tutors (Demonic Tutor, Tiamat, Eladamri's Call) provide high consistency, while powerful recursion spells (Eerie Ultimatum, Bladewing the Risen) ensure resilient recovery following sweepers. Defensive staples like Teferi's Protection, Heroic Intervention, and Dragonlord Dromoka safeguard critical turns, allowing the deck to close games swiftly through devastating combat damage and an infinite combat loop with Hellkite Charger and Old Gnawbone.
