Deck overview

This deck is a high-synergy Mardu Treasure midrange strategy commanded by Vihaan, Goldwaker. It accelerates rapidly in the opening turns using efficient mana rocks and low-cost Treasure generators like Lotho, Corrupt Shirriff, Magda, Brazen Outlaw, and Smothering Tithe. Once Vihaan enters the battlefield, every Treasure becomes a 3/3 Construct Assassin with vigilance and haste during combat on your turn. Because Treasures retain their mana abilities, they can attack for substantial combat damage and still be tapped for mana in the second main phase. The deck layers this aggressive combat clock with aristocrat drain engines including Mirkwood Bats, Marionette Apprentice, Nadier's Nightblade, and Mayhem Devil. If combat stalls, excess Treasure mana converts into game-ending finishers like Torment of Hailfire or Revel in Riches. Resilient against creature board wipes because Treasures remain artifacts outside combat, the deck applies relentless pressure while maintaining efficient removal.
