Magus Kane, Endless Hunger (0/0, ) by The.Witness

Format: Commander

Commander: Magus Lucea Kane

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Magus Lucea Kane is an X-matters +1/+1 counter deck that weaponizes the commander's copy trigger to turn every Hydra, Tyranid, and X-sorcery into a two-for-one. Acceleration gets Lucea down early, then Branching Evolution, Doubling Season, and The Earth Crystal super-charge the counters on Ravenous creatures like Tervigon, Broodlord, and Goldvein Hydra, while Tribute to the World Tree, Garruk's Uprising, and Temur Ascendancy convert those bodies into cards. The deck closes games with a giant Finale of Devastation overrun, a Blue Sun's Zenith deck-out, the Simic Ascendancy counter win, or the infinite-mana loop of Incubation Druid + Freed from the Real. Backup copy engines in Owlin Spiralmancer, Zimone, Infinite Analyst, and Nev, the Practical Dean keep the plan functional even if the commander is repeatedly answered.
