Commander: Wolverine, Best There Is

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

Wolverine, Best There Is is a damage-doubling voltron commander. The deck accelerates Wolverine into play early, then uses +1/+1 counter engines and pump spells to turn one attack into lethal damage. Kediss, Emberclaw Familiar functions as a hidden commander: because Wolverine doubles all damage, a single 11-power swing deals 22+ commander damage to the defending player and 44+ life loss to each other opponent, winning in one combat. Chandra's Ignition is a sorcery-speed version of the same table kill. Secondary paths use large trampling creatures and fight spells for board control. Nearly all win lines route through Wolverine, making protection and sequencing essential.
