Deck overview

This mono-green deck harnesses Vorinclex, Monstrous Raider to turn +1/+1 counters and planeswalker loyalty into overwhelming board pressure. With dense 1- and 2-CMC mana acceleration, the deck consistently casts Vorinclex on Turn 4 with haste. On Turn 5, it exploits Vorinclex's static ability to double incoming loyalty counters, enabling planeswalkers like Garruk, Caller of Beasts and Vivien Reid to trigger their ultimate emblems immediately upon entering the battlefield. In tandem with self-doubling beaters like Kalonian Hydra, Ghalta, Primal Hunger, and Apex Devastator, the deck rapidly generates astronomical power and toughness. It overwhelms blockers via trample, closing out games by Turn 7. Meanwhile, Vorinclex passively cripples opposing planeswalkers and counter strategies by halving their counters rounded down.
