Deck overview

This Golgari deck focuses on Zombie tribal synergy, token generation, and combat attrition led by Enkira, Hostile Scavenger. It accelerates early with 1-mana and 2-mana ramp to deploy Enkira on Turn 4, immediately generating two 2/2 Walker tokens. From there, the deck stacks anthem lords like Death Baron, Lord of the Accursed, and Undead Warchief to turn a swarm of Zombies into lethal attackers while protecting Enkira with indestructible attack triggers. Aristocrat pieces such as Ayara, First of Locthwain and Vengeful Dead provide life drain whenever creatures enter or die, while Overwhelming Stampede acts as an overrun finisher. The deck features strong redundancy across its creature package and steady card flow from draw engines like Cryptbreaker and Graveborn Muse. However, it lacks dedicated library tutors, instant-speed stack interaction, and robust protection spells, leaving its wide creature boards vulnerable to opposing board wipes.
