Deck overview

This Boros deck executes a focused Dwarf tribal and Treasure synergy strategy led by Thorin, King of Durin's Folk. During the early turns, it floods the battlefield with low-cost Dwarf creatures and artifact ramp. Casting Thorin on turn 4 immediately activates a scaling anthem that grants all other Dwarves +1/+0 for each artifact token controlled. By stacking Treasure tokens from combat, Dwarf entries, and cards like Magda, Brazen Outlaw and Academy Manufactor, the deck transforms modest utility creatures into massive lethal attackers by turn 5. Overwhelming combat power, augmented by double strike from Dáin Ironfoot or game-ending spells like Akroma's Will and Taunt from the Rampart, allows the deck to eliminate all three opponents by turn 7. Robust protection spells safeguard the board against destruction sweepers, while alternate tutor lines through Magda provide dependable redundancy.
