Queen Aikido by tryhardaar

Format: Commander

Commander: Queen Marchesa

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Queen Marchesa commands a classic Mardu aikido and political control strategy. Rather than presenting rapid threats, the deck introduces the monarch to entice opponents into attacking each other, punishing aggression with goad effects like Disrupt Decorum, Kardur, Doomscourge, and Taunt from the Rampart. When opponents turn large attacks or lethal spells toward you, devastating defensive spells like Inkshield, Comeuppance, Deflecting Palm, and Take the Bait redirect the damage directly back at them. The deck closes games by weaponizing opposing momentum, executing late-game blowouts with Arcbond, Gisela, Blade of Goldnight, and Brash Taunter, or finishing players with Sunforger-equipped combat swings.
