Naya - Shalai and Hallar v5 by RyoM95

Format: Commander

Commander: Shalai and Hallar

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

Shalai and Hallar is the deck's damage engine: every time a +1/+1 counter is put on a creature, the commander turns that event into direct damage. The primary plan is to curve into Shalai early, then use enchantress value cards (Sythis, Setessan Champion, Satsuki, Sagas) to generate mana, cards, and counter triggers. Kami of Whispered Hopes and All Will Be One double each counter event's damage, while Felidar Retreat, Halana and Alena, Tribute to the World Tree, and proliferate effects add more counters every turn. Secondary wins come from huge Hydras, Origin of Thor on an oversized Shalai, and a wide Pegasus/Spirit beatdown. There is no double-faced commander; Sythis is the closest hidden commander, holding the saga/enchantress engine together.
