Kudo Token Bears by Dragonslayer

Format: Commander

Commander: Kudo, King Among Bears

Bracket: 4

DeckCheck Threat Index: 44

Deck overview

This deck utilizes Kudo, King Among Bears to manipulate board sizing across the table, transforming all other creatures into 2/2 Bears. While this equalizes raw opposing threats, the deck breaks parity aggressively through static anthems, +1/+1 counter placement, and wide token generation. A signature interaction pairs Kudo with Elesh Norn, Grand Cenobite, instantly reducing all opposing creatures to 0/0 while growing your own team into formidable 4/4s. Beyond static suppression, the list packs a two-card infinite combo featuring Basking Broodscale and Cathars' Crusade, generating unbounded colorless mana and arbitrarily large creatures. A redundant suite of turn-silencing pieces like Grand Abolisher, Myrel, Shield of Argive, and Kutzil, Malamet Exemplar shields offensive turns from opposing disruption. Supported by elite mana acceleration like Gaea's Cradle and flexible creature tutors, the deck smoothly transitions from early board development to a decisive turn 5 onset and turn 6 combat finish.
