Deck overview

This deck leverages Ms. Bumbleflower to combine a Group Hug strategy with an aggressive +1/+1 counter beatdown plan. By giving opponents cards when casting spells, the deck breaks symmetry with passive draw engines like Faerie Mastermind, The Unagi of Kyoshi Island, and Wedding Ring. In doing so, it triggers Ms. Bumbleflower's secondary draw condition to maintain a full hand of resources. As cards flow, growing threats such as Chasm Skulker, Managorger Hydra, and Kalonian Hydra accumulate counters and gain flying from the commander. Defensive tools like Ghostly Prison, Martial Impetus, and Perch Protection deter incoming attacks and redirect aggression among opponents. Punisher artifacts like Black Vise, Iron Maiden, and Ebony Owl Netsuke convert opponents' inflated hand sizes into steady damage, while Simic Ascendancy offers an alternate win condition if combat stalls.
