Deck overview

This deck is a Simic control and tempo strategy built around Alaundo the Seer. The primary game plan accelerates Alaundo onto the battlefield by Turn 3 or 4, utilizing a deep suite of cheap untappers such as Kiora's Follower, Vizier of Tumbling Sands, and Seedborn Muse to activate Alaundo multiple times per turn cycle. Each activation draws a card and exiles a nonland card with time counters, while ticking down all other exiled cards. Within one to two turns of activation, the deck unleashes a flurry of high-mana spells for free with haste, including Koma, Cosmos Serpent, Titan of Industry, Rumbleweed, and Scourge of Fleets. In addition to overwhelming combat pressure, the deck deploys crushing soft-locks using Opposition, Dismiss into Dream, and Stasis, breaking parity effortlessly through untap effects while holding up efficient countermagic to protect its board.
