Deck overview

This deck is a Temur Dragon tribal strategy helmed by Miirym, Sentinel Wyrm. Its primary objective is accelerating through early turns using dense 1- and 2-mana ramp spells, landing Miirym ahead of curve on turn 4 or 5, and immediately copying massive Dragon threats. Once Miirym is established, every subsequent nontoken Dragon enters with a nonlegendary duplicate, rapidly doubling the deck's offensive output and value triggers. Threats like Thrakkus the Butcher exponentially amplify combat damage, while Scourge of the Throne and Hellkite Charger provide additional combat steps to overwhelm opposing life totals. The deck supports this game plan with creature-based card draw such as Garruk's Uprising and defensive options like countermagic and ward.
