Deck overview

High Perfect Morcant is a Golgari Elf-tribal commander who doubles as a -1/-1 counter engine. Every Elf that enters - including Lathril, Blade of the Elves' tokens, Collected Company hits, and even Springleaf Parade changelings - forces each opponent to blight a creature they control, while tapping three Elves proliferates to grow your +1/+1 counter synergies and worsen their wither. The deck runs a dual-track plan: out-value creature tables with Maha, Its Feathers Night and Necroskitter converting forced -1/-1 counters into kills and theft, while simultaneously assembling a critical mass of mana dorks and lords for combat wins via Preposterous Proportions, Tyvar, the Pummeler, and Fangs of Kalonia. A deep reanimation suite (Bloodline Bidding, Victimize, Revoke Demise) rebuilds through wipes. Morcant is a value engine rather than a combo piece, making this a midrange tribal advantage deck that grinds into the midgame and then overwhelms.
