Deck overview

This deck is a Grixis Discard Control build commanded by Crosis, the Purger, designed to systematically dismantle opposing hands while converting discards into massive resource disparity and life loss. Operating on a curve supported by 13 ramp pieces and efficient black tutors, the deck accelerates into group-discard engines such as Kefka, Court Mage, Aclazotz, Deepest Betrayal, and Syphon Mind. Payoffs like Waste Not, Geth's Grimoire, and Tergrid, God of Fright rapidly tilt the resource ledger by generating mana, card draw, and stolen permanents. Meanwhile, punishers including Liliana's Caress, Megrim, and Painful Quandary chip away at opposing life totals each time cards are discarded or spells are cast. Once opponents are reduced to topdeck mode around Turn 5–6, evasive Specters and large legendary threats close the game across three combat cycles, backed by a robust suite of efficient countermagic and board wipes.
