Deck overview

This deck is a Simic artifact-token midrange strategy led by Lonis, Cryptozoologist. The game plan revolves around casting cheap creatures to investigate, rapidly stacking Clues, Foods, and Treasures on the battlefield. Value multipliers like Academy Manufactor, Peregrin Took, and Tireless Provisioner scale token production into significant mana and card velocity. The deck transitions into a lethal threat by animating its artifact swarm using Cyberdrive Awakener, Rise and Shine, or Tangletrove Kelp, turning dormant utility tokens into an evasive combat force. Opposing threats are kept in check through efficient countermagic, spot exile, and asymmetric tapping from Junk Winder. Because noncreature tokens naturally survive standard creature sweepers, the deck maintains steady board presence and can rebuild quickly if disrupted.
