Deck overview

This is a mono-blue artifact prison deck built around Urza, Lord High Artificer as the ultimate mana engine. The plan is to deploy a heavy mana-rock suite, resolve Urza, and then turn every artifact into a blue mana source while a stax package of Winter Orb, Static Orb, Back to Basics, and Trinisphere chokes the rest of the table. Unwinding Clock untaps all artifacts on each opponent's untap step, giving Urza a massive, asymmetric mana advantage. The deck can then transition into a hard lock with Karn, the Great Creator and Mycosynth Lattice, or simply win through a giant Urza Construct, Thopter swarm, or an animated-artifact wave from The Antiquities War and Tezzeret the Seeker. It is a midrange prison deck rather than a turbo combo deck: slow, redundant, and built for inevitability.
