Deck overview

This deck is a 5-color tribal stompy strategy led by The Ur-Dragon. It leverages the passive eminence cost reduction and heavy artifact ramp to deploy massive legendary Dragons ahead of schedule. The game plan focuses on establishing a mana and engine foundation by Turn 4 using cards like Urza's Incubator, Monster Manual, or Miirym, Sentinel Wyrm. On Turn 5, the deck creates an overwhelming threat state through explosive plays such as Hellkite Courser dropping The Ur-Dragon into combat, triggering card draw and free permanent deployment. The deck quickly finishes the table on Turn 6 by doubling combat damage with Atarka, World Render or triggering massive noncombat damage from Terror of the Peaks and Scourge of Valkas. The deck protects its board through free interaction like Deflecting Swat, anti-counter measures like Rhythm of the Wild, and recovers from sweepers using powerful mass reanimation effects like Patriarch's Bidding and Eerie Ultimatum.
