Deck overview

This deck is an Abzan Aristocrats combo build centered on Ghave, Guru of Spores. It leverages the synergy between +1/+1 counters, token generation, and sacrifice outlets to assemble infinite resource loops. The primary route uses Ghave alongside a sacrifice engine like Ashnod's Altar and an undying creature like Young Wolf or a counter modifier like Cathars' Crusade. This loop generates infinite colorless mana, infinite tokens, and infinite death triggers to drain all opponents via Elas il-Kor, Sadistic Pilgrim or Marionette Apprentice. Dense ramp and creature tutors ensure consistent execution by turn 5, while dedicated protection spells like Silence and Veil of Summer defend the combo window.
