Deck overview

This deck is an Esper lifegain control deck that leverages Oloro, Ageless Ascetic's command-zone eminence to accumulate a substantial life cushion without spending mana. It controls the table using efficient spot interaction, board wipes, and oppressive non-creature enchantments such as Humility and Solemnity that invalidate creature-centric and counter-based strategies. Its primary win condition is the classic infinite drain loop of Exquisite Blood and Sanguine Bond. Because both pieces cost five mana and have no functional equivalents in the 99, the deck uses a suite of artifact and enchantment tutors to assemble them. Once deployed on Turn 6, Oloro's guaranteed upkeep lifegain immediately initiates an infinite damage and lifegain loop on Turn 7 that drains all three opponents to zero simultaneously.
