Deck overview

This deck is a classic mono-green stompy strategy built around Ghalta, Primal Hunger. The game plan accelerates mana on Turns 1 and 2 to deploy over-statted creatures with exceptional power-to-mana ratios by Turn 3, including Steel Leaf Champion, Pugnacious Hammerskull, and Gigantosaurus. These threats reduce Ghalta's casting cost to just two green mana, allowing the 12/12 trampling Elder Dinosaur to enter the battlefield as early as Turn 4. Once assembled, the deck uses power-matters card draw engines like Garruk's Uprising, Elemental Bond, and Rishkar's Expertise to replenish its hand while maintaining heavy battlefield pressure. Combat multipliers like Overwhelming Stampede and Unnatural Growth provide the decisive punch needed to trample through blockers and eliminate the table by Turn 6. While vulnerable to timely board sweepers and lacking stack interaction, the deck delivers consistent, overwhelming physical pressure.
