Deck overview

This mono-green deck centers on Kona, Rescue Beastie, using low-cost tap outlets like Springleaf Drum, Jaspera Sentinel, Exploration Broodship, and Tyvar, the Pummeler to tap Kona safely without risking combat loss. Once tapped, Kona triggers survival at the start of your second main phase, putting massive permanents such as Worldspine Wurm, Apex Altisaur, Vorinclex, Voice of Hunger, and Titan of Industry directly onto the battlefield without paying mana costs. The deck then converts this power into card draw using spells like Greater Good, Rishkar's Expertise, and Momentous Fall to dig into decisive overrun finishers including Craterhoof Behemoth and Overwhelming Stampede. Supported by dense ramp and protection pieces like Lightning Greaves and Archetype of Endurance, the deck applies lethal pressure on Turn 4 and aims to eliminate the table by Turn 6.
