Deck overview

Zurgo Stormrender is a token-drain commander who turns every attack into an extra 1/1 Warrior and converts token deaths into cards or life loss. The deck's primary plan is to go wide with efficient token producers (Loyal Apprentice, Legion Warboss, Chittering Witch), cast Zurgo to generate a free attacker each turn, then break parity with anthem effects and token-multiplying payoffs. Goldnight Commander and Angel of Invention create explosive one-turn swings, while Divine Visitation turns every token into a 4/4 flying Angel. The backup path is grinding through card draw with Skullclamp and Gix, rebuilding with Sun Titan and Thalisse. There is no hidden commander; all lines feed the same token swarm.
