hydra my nuts in yo mouth by Cheesyrooster

Format: Commander

Commander: Zaxara, the Exemplary

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Zaxara, the Exemplary is both engine and commander: it taps for two colored mana and turns every {X} spell into a Hydra token. The primary plan is to ramp onto an early Zaxara, then use X-cost hydras plus counter doublers (Doubling Season, Branching Evolution, Corpsejack Menace) to flood the board with enormous trampling tokens. Secondary paths are Simic Ascendancy as a counters-matter alt-win and Exsanguinate/Villainous Wealth as mana sinks. Zimone, Infinite Analyst is a quiet backup commander in the 99, discounting X spells and scaling with them, but the deck is built around Zaxara's token generation.
