Deck overview

This Jeskai midrange deck is helmed by Gwen Stacy // Ghost-Spider, focusing on maximizing cards cast or played from exile. Gwen enters early to provide immediate card velocity, then transforms into Ghost-Spider as a formidable 4/4 flying, vigilance, and haste threat. Ghost-Spider accumulates +1/+1 counters whenever cards are played from exile and converts those counters into additional impulse draws. The 99 is packed with paradox synergies, impulse cantrips, and potent payoffs such as Quintorius Kand, Flaming Tyrannosaurus, Nico Minoru, Runaway, and Iraxxa, Empress of Mars. These cards turn every exiled spell into direct damage against all opponents and wide token boards. Backed by efficient white and blue interaction, cheap protection, and alternative exile engines like Laelia, the Blade Reforged, the deck maintains a steady flow of resources and closes games through a blend of airborne combat and inevitable non-combat burn.
