Deck overview

This deck is a mono-red Dragon tribal strategy led by Lathliss, Dragon Queen. The primary game plan focuses on deploying early mana rocks and tribal cost reducers to cast Lathliss ahead of curve on Turn 5. Once Lathliss is on the battlefield, casting subsequent Dragons triggers her ability to generate a 5/5 flying Dragon token for each nontoken Dragon that enters. This rapidly builds an overwhelming aerial army capable of dealing massive combat damage and activating firebreathing buffs. Complementary enchantments such as Dragon Tempest and Warstorm Surge convert creature deployment into direct burn damage, bypassing ground blockers. While the deck possesses explosive finishing lines through cards like Terror of Mount Velus, Utvara Hellkite, and an infinite token loop with Ganax, Astral Hunter and Draconic Visitor, its reliance on a high-mana commander and expensive creature spells leaves it vulnerable to well-timed sweepers and spot removal due to minimal stack protection.
